All fireworks stands must be inspected and comply with requirements set by NFPA 1124.
The following is an incomplete list of things that we will be observing:
1. Fireworks shall not be sold under a tent.
2. Trailers shall not be used as a fireworks stand.
(This includes trailer used as storage, except when delivering, loading, or unloading fireworks per NFPA 1124).
3. A minimum of two portable fire extinguishers installed with a minimum 2A rating, and at least
one pressurized-water type extinguisher (according to NFPA 1124 7.3.8.2).
4. No parking within 10 feet of the sales of fireworks.
5. No smoking signs posted.
